If you have joined the masses of people who want to buy acai, then you may be asking yourself the ultimate question: where to buy acai. If you do a bit of research then you’ll see that the answer is relatively simple, and is in fact staring you in the face. The Internet is the best place from which to buy acai. Not only can you chose your acai product from the comfort of your own home, but there is a much greater choice than if you went to your local health store. It can’t hurt to have a look, even if you don’t think that you’ll buy acai online.
I’m often asked by people who want to buy acai why they can’t simply buy the berries. Well that’s easy: they degrade so quickly that getting them outside of their native Brazil in anything other than a mushy mess is damn near impossible. This is the reason that people wanting to buy acai will see so many acai products but not the berries themselves.
When you’re wanting to buy acai, choosing the right product for you and your family is key. Which one is right for your depends a lot on what you want to do once you’ve got it.

Getting acai from the rain forests of Brazil is no mean feat. Getting them to your grocery store in New York is an even bigger problem, and not least because the berries tend to degrade very quickly after they are harvested. In fact the only way to get them there in any edible state is to do a little bit of processing at the place of harvest.
Of course the more processing is done the longer the acai will last before it goes bad; unfortunately more processing means less of the nutrients are present in the acai when it reaches your home. This is until you consider what is likely the perfect solution: acai preserves.
Not only are acai preserves excellent for ensuring that the acai is still edible when it arrives, it is also very delicious in its own right. Also, as acai preserves is, well, a preserve, it can be used to prepare food in so many different ways. It sounds a little trite to say it, but you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.
Eating acai preserves is a little odd because it tastes a lot like chocolate syrup — albeit a fruity chocolate syrup. Eating chocolate does not match in my mind to being healthy, so there is a mental barrier to cross.

You may have heard of the acai berry — if you haven’t then you must have been living under a rock — and have heard all about how good it is for us. Some people just accept that a certain food is good for us if we are told that is the case by a book or even the TV. Others — hopefully the people reading this — want to find out why a particular food is good, what benefits it provides, and whether we should start to introduce the food into our family’s diet.
The acai berry is good for a number of reasons, but mainly because of the massive amounts of antioxidants and anthocyanins that the berry contains. Other good sources of these essential nutrients include red grapes and, as a comparison, the acai berry contains as much as 10 times the amount of antioxidants and 30 times the anthocyanins. Impressive already! Antioxidants and anthocyanins are essential for our bodies to function, but may actually fight diseases such as cancer and diabetes, as well as combating bacterial infections.
Also in the acai berry are an abundance of healthy mono unsaturated fats, dietary fiber and phytosterols which all help your digestion and improve the effectiveness with which red blood cells can carry oxygen to the rest of the body.

If you have ever seen an acai berry — which, admittedly, is fairly unlikely — then you will know that it looks pretty similar to a large grape. The berry itself is around 1 inch or in diameter, with a seed inside that takes up 80% of this volume. The berry is a deep purple in color and grows in large bunches on top of the acai palm tree. The acai palm grows exclusively in the Amazon basin area in Brazil.
So why is it unlikely that you’ll ever have the fortune to see an acai berry in its berry form? Well because the berries degrade disappointingly quickly once they are harvested. You will no doubt see acai pulps, purees and acai berry supplements in the shops, as these are some of the ways that distributors have found to get around the degradation problem.
And what a solution these products are. The benefit of acai supplements in particular are a masterly show of science, and they are perfect for many situations in the home. If you’re busy then integrating acai into the daily meal can be difficult; acai berry supplements will definitely help. If you don’t like the taste of acai then tasteless acai supplements are going to be an idea solution.
It is unfortunate that you can’t get the berry, but the benefits of acai berry supplements provide an extremely competent solution.

There are lots of people in lots of different industries that are singing the praises of the fruit and of the acai diet. Oprah called the acai berry the “number 1 super food” and said that “this little berry is one of the most nutritious and powerful foods in the world”. High praise indeed!
Next on the list of praisers is the venerable Dr. Nicholas Perricone. Acai features on his list of super foods at number 1. His book, The Perricone Promise, lists acai as his top super food.
Even the New York Times has had its turn for praising acai. The article points out that an acai diet is good because acai is rich in antioxidants and amino acids.
An acai diet is recommended in many circles as a good way to help prevent serious illnesses like cancer, diabetes and even Alzheimer’s. With acai being available in juice form there is absolutely no reason not to give this a go!
Doctors are eager to prescribe an acai diet for general improvements to health and well-being It is even said that an acai diet can help to prevent and combat the signs of ageing If that’s not an incentive to try an acai diet then I don’t know what is!

Monavie acai juice has earned itself quite a negative reputation in the circles in which it is sold. It is perhaps the case that this bad reputation is mostly warranted.
The first thing to note about Monavie acai juice is that it contains no ‘real’ acai at all; the only acai present in the drink is of the powdered variety. If this seems like a bit of a cheat to you then don’t worry: you are in good company. Customers all over the world are voting with their wallets and buying one of Monavie’s many superior competitors.
Monavie have entered a patent application for the freeze-dried acai powder it uses in its drink. The patent has not yet been granted, with the authorities citing a lack of novelty, inventiveness and industrial applicability in the process as the reasons behind the failure.
The price of Monavie is a worry to its customers, too. If one takes the recommended dosage of Monavie then it will cost between $3 and $6 per day, depending on which product you buy. This might not seem a lot, but it all adds up and, in fact it is roughly twice that of Amazon Thunder, its nearest acai juice rival.

No wonder the acai better is held in such high regard by so many people: it is both
extremely tasty and incredibly nutritious. There’s nothing bad about it and it has been
proven to be very good for you indeed. The reasons why acai is great for your health are
many fold, but basically it gives your body a very high concentration of amino acids and
those essential anti oxidants. Anti oxidants are found in the red grapes (hence the many
assertions from wine lovers that drinking red wine is positively good for you), but acai
contains 10 times as many.
Acai juice is by far and away the best way to get your daily acai fix. Sources as diverse and esteemed as Dr. Nicholas Perricone, Oprah Winfrey any the New York Times have all taken it in turns to praise the acai berry and acai juice in particular.
Perricone in particular has shown a love for acai juice. He has noted acai juice as being the number one super food, ahead of red grapes and blue berries, both of which are health foods of some renown
Don’t just take his word for it, though. Try it yourself! Acai juice is available on the Internet for delivery to your door: a perfect way to get – and stay – super fit.

I am a bible reading, god fearing person, and, as the bible tells me, I should not envy. But I do, I really do! My friend has been running his own home based business for a few years now and it is really starting to pay off. He is enjoying shorter hours at work (work being situated in the spare bedroom at home, of course), a great income that goes directly to him, and a very, very short commute.
A few years ago my friend was in a fairly mundane job that didn’t pay so well and involved a long commute. He was a dreamer: cars, boats, nice house. He was convinced that some how, one day, he would make it big and hit the jackpot. He has done that now.
And in fact it was all down to hard work in the end. Good honest hard work is what is needed in a home based business just like in any other business.
As I said, I read the bible and I try not to be jealous, but my friend’s material possessions, his lifestyle and just his general happiness make me a little bit jealous. Jealous enough to feel that his path is one that I would like to take, too. Watch this space.
